The health and safety of our customers, as well as team members, remains a top priority at all Dimon & Bacorn, Inc. locations. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we want to assure you that we are taking significant precautionary measures and adhering to recommendations from public health officials, as well as continuing to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
We have assembled a multifunctional team that includes key leaders across the organization who meet to ensure we continue to address all facets of this developing situation. This team is equipped with contingency plans to respond to a variety of different scenarios so that we may react swiftly if any of the areas where we operate are impacted. We are actively working with our safety experts, vendors and suppliers to ensure that we can continue to serve your transportation needs.
In addition to reinforcing good hygiene practices recommended by the CDC with our team members, we have also increased the frequency of our already stringent cleaning and sanitation procedures in every space. Dimon & Bacorn, Inc. has temporarily suspended common used break room dishes, cups, utensils and condiments, to reduce the possibility of contagion.
We have asked our employees to stay home if they are feeling under the weather or have recently traveled to an affected area.
Dimon & Bacorn, Inc. is also requiring that employees embarking on personal or business travel report their destination prior to departure so that our team can determine if the employee should self-quarantine on their return prior to resuming their duties.
All team members are being asked to avoid personal contact of any kind and to maintain personal space. Our garage/mechanic staff have been asked to wear personal protection latex gloves while working on vehicles and will be asked to avoid direct skin contact with vehicle surfaces.
We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to modify our processes to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness.
